School: Strip search of 13 yr old girl was based on “reasonable grounds”
This is an absolutely sickening story, and a sad commentary on the people working in government youth propaganda camps public schools.
Summary of the story: 3 yrs ago, 13 yr old Savana Redding was forced to go through the humiliating experience of being strip searched at her school for allegedly being in possession of “prohibited items”. The evidence that warranted the search? Another girl told the principal she got the contraband from Savana.
What could possibly warrant strip searching a 13 yr old girl you ask?
Vials of anthrax? Nope
A nuclear device? Not even close.
A machine gun? Absolutely not.
The offense? She allegedly had, now get ready for this……IBUPROFEN!!!!!!!!
Yes, the same Ibuprofen thats sold under various brand names such as Motrin, Advil, and numerous others.
A district court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals have upheld the right of the school to strip search her, but today a full court of appeals heard the case, with a decision coming in the next few months.
This is an absolutely tragedy, no little girl should have to be sexually assaulted by school officials simply because she is accused of having something so innocuous as Ibuprofen. I give my own personal kudos to Savanas parents for not going down to that school right away and unleashing holy violent hell on those administrators involved in the assault of this girl.
As bad as that story is, the reasoning behind it is even worse. The school districts attorney had this to say:
“Wright, the lawyer for the school district, says the school’s strict drug policy is still in effect. He is not aware of any specific rules on strip searches but stresses the duty of schools “to closely supervise students and provide a safe environment.” As for the strip search of Redding, he says it was based on “reasonable grounds.”
“Remember,” he says, “this was prescription strength Ibuprofen.”
Is that supposed to justify it? Prescription strength Ibuprofen? That should mean public schools are allowed to violate the natural rights of its students?
Why didn’t the school notify the girls parents before performing this unconstitutional search?
This is yet another sad example of why parents should NEVER send their children to government funded schools. The government believes they have more power over your children than you do.

Holy Hell!!! Lucky for them it wasn’t my child! Don’t think I could have restrained myself. Public schools!!! Absolutely repulsive! No child of any age or any gender should have to endure such a travisty! My goodness! Once again, a fine example of the beloved govn.t taking matters into their own hands, paying no mind to the constitution!
Whats next, sex ed with hands on training???
What you get from the public schools is the lowest education at the lowest possible price. Unless you are part of the “super-rich”, you have no choice but to send your children to them. Years ago a number of states ‘outlawed’ the free school concept where a group of parents would hire a teacher to teach their children. Now homeschooling is under attack. The junk they teach in public schools is meant to teach them NOT to think, just accept the brainwashing. How many other children have been abused by the school system like that thirteen year old? We are supposed to teach our children to respect teachers, policemen and ministers but we need to teach them to defend themselves first.
Why not tell these people and organizations how you feel?
