Everyone has heard of the woman who was forced by the Titty Searching Agency (aka TSA) to remove her nipple piercings with a pair of pliers. Well the rocket scientists at the TSA have come up with a change of policy as far as piercings go: Now the passenger can go through the indignity of showing the pierced part to a TSA agent.

This is the best this unbelievably incompetent agency can come up with? Forcing Americans to show parts of their body to government agents without a warrant? Does this include genital piercings?

Has the TSA ever heard of the 4th Amendment? I think it’s safe to say that it’s common knowledge that TSA agents aren’t exactly the cream of the crop as far as intelligence or being fluent in the English language go, but now they want people to show them their private parts “just to make sure”???

Why should Americans have to expose themselves to federal agents simply to get on a plane? What if a mother is their with her children and she happens to have her nipples pierced? She gets whisked away to a back room to take her shirt off in front of some $10 rent-a-cop with a federal badge?

I wonder what would happen if Americans simply refused to be treated like criminals anymore. What would happen if large crowds in airports all over the country simply said “We will no longer tolerate the government infringing upon our rights”. Would the planes simply sit there empty costing everyone money? Would the airlines allow that to happen?

Do Americans even have the fortitude to do something like that?

The U.S. used to be called the Land of the Free. Where did that spirit go?
